Collision Repair and Body Work

Growing up in Southern California Joe Horvath was exposed to Hot Rods at an early age. Joe has always loved cars, from four wheeled fire breathing monsters to the low sleek lines of led sleds. Custom cars and rods are in his blood. He started working on cars at the age of thirteen, and built his first project when he was 17, which was a ‘69 cougar. Working at a local corvette shop he was soon recognized as a skilled builder and started taking on side jobs rebuilding woodies.

In the 70’s Joe’s work was featured on over 14 magazine covers including Hot Rod Magazine, Street Rods (twice), Truckin’ (twice), Performance Boat, Street Rodder, and the cover of Restoration Magazine

His two favorite Hot Rod projects that he participated in was a restoration of an original cobra in 1978. Then two years later he reworked a badly vandalized ‘37 Rolls Royce Phantom 3, which later won the Pebble Beach car events in 1977 and 1978.
